Very few people excel at everything.
We all have our specialities, interests and passions.

The challenge often is choosing which passion to follow, which interest to invest more of your life in.

I've come to one of those decisions, and the great result is that it's forcing me to streamline and focus.

Regularly re-evaluating what you are doing is essential.
After all, we all know the saying: "If you keep doing what you're doing, you're going to keep getting what you're getting"
Not getting the results should be a signal for a full-scale check-up.
But unfortunately too many of us just 'plod on regardless', doing the same thing, and hoping that the results will improve 'someday'.
Someday never comes! There is no such day!

Start making each day count by knowing what it is that you expect to get from each and every day.
If you're not reaching your targets, re-evaluate, focus down, and above put the effort in.

From this issue some 'focusing down'. eBiz is to concentrate on getting the most from your site, as cost-effectively as possible.
Now eBiz doesn't profess to know all the answers, but we are great at uncovering the people who do.

So you can look forward to a leaner and meaner eBiz - more focused and direct.

1. Trafficology Ezine

Signing itself as 'The Science of Web Traffic' seems a bit over the top, but over the three months that I've been subscribed there have been many times each month that I've had to agree.

They filter through hundreds of ideas each month to bring us the select few with the potential to add a those extra few thousand hits to our sites.

And if you've got a idea, they'll even pay you for it if they use it.

2. UKPhonebooks

A free web based '192' service which allows people to manage their own information listings and add any extra information. All information is updated everyday via a direct link to BT's servers and includes all the major telecoms providers. http://www.ukphonebook.com

I've been using several of his scripts for a while now and I can't say anything negative about them. Solid scripts, professional and prompt.

5. Moving sites

My re-evaluation over the last few months means a shuffling around of sites.
The ebiz subscribers site will be moving over to www.onlyforprofit.com some time in the near future, as I develop www.empowersu.com to match my future as a Life Coach...

Having nearly completed my qualification as a Professional Relaxation Therapist, I am about to embark on training as a Life Coach, and empowersu obviously would be a great name for this (I've already bought life-coach.info as a secondary site...)

More news as it happens, but for the moment status quo is the same.


6. If you run or plan to run a subscription only site...

Take some lessons from Bill Myers, one of the top product developers around.
Having sold off at great profits many of his other businesses, he has set a product developers website here
