1. The Title Tag: It’s important to have the proper title tag, The title tag should contain your keywords - the main topic of your site (what you want to be known for).

Click on a website and click “view source” which is how you look at HTML source code that makes up a page.

The first thing that you notice is that it has a title tag. Then there’s a header or heading that set up with an H1, H2 or H3 tag.

H1 gives you a big heading, H2 a bit smaller and H3 gives you an even smaller heading on a website. You can adjust how big it makes them. Your headings (H1, H2 and H3) should contain your keywords.

2. Image Alt Tag: Sometimes, if you put your cursor on an image and wait a second, a little yellow box comes up. Whatever you put as your image alt tag is displayed in that box. You can put your keywords in there.

The first 250 words on your page count the most. Everything beyond 250 really doesn’t matter that much. It should make sense, but it really doesn’t matter.

The metatags. You can go on the Internet. I’m not going to bore you with all these metatags, but you can go on the Internet and put “free metatag creator and you can find the tags listed in there. It’s very simple. Just look for it.

But most important, the metatags are your description of your site, what it is that you’re doing, what your site is about and even what you are selling.

3. Keywords: And then, the most important part is only use three keywords on a page; three main keywords. Some people put 250, 500, 600 or 1,000. Guess what? It’s all bogus. That’s a key that most people don’t know what they’re doing. Use only three.

We’ve found this by a lot of testing - not only myself, but a lot of my friends.

This is what works.
